Capturing Patient Information Ahead of Time.

BestRx Forms can be used to quickly obtain pertinent patient information prior to the appointment. This can be done in multiple ways, including:

• Using a prepopulated template.
• Building a custom form from scratch.
• Replicating and editing an existing form.

All forms can include a variety of question formats, including single or multiple-choice questions and drop-down menus. You can also add comment boxes, a signature field and scheduling component to each form to streamline the process even further. Once the form has been finalized, simply mark it as active and it’s ready for use.

Setting Aside the Time and Resources Needed.

Finding time throughout the day to perform the various services offered is one of the biggest challenges for pharmacies, especially as demand shifts seasonally. To ensure you have the appropriate amount of time and resources available, BestRx pharmacies can use the Scheduler feature to:

• Indicate which staff member(s) can complete each service. For example, you can select ‘General’ if the service can be performed by any available staff member. Alternatively, selecting ‘Person’ enables you to assign a specific individual or position (like a pharmacist) to a service.
• Create different events and appointments for each service you offer.
• Group similar events together by category or type, such as “vaccines”.
• Determine how much time is needed to perform the service, what days and times the service will be offered, and what increments to book the service in (every 15 minutes, for example).

Automatically Syncing the Information to BestRx.

Linking your active forms in BestRx will enable you to view all form responses and booked appointments directly from your software. After creating a custom queue for this information to be routed to, you can perform other actions as well, including:

• Fill a new prescription.
• View the patient’s profile.
• View and/or print the form response for an upcoming appointment.
• Mark an appointment as complete.
• Remove an appointment from the queue.

You can also preview your active forms and send patients confirmation messages automatically after an appointment has been booked.
