3 Times to Use BestRx’s Video Library for On-Demand Support
Posted on May 09, 2022
Implementing a new process or technology can be challenging for any business, and pharmacy software is no exception. While it can help you become more efficient and profitable once it’s up and running, getting used to a new system takes time. With so much information coming your way, it can be overwhelming, which is why BestRx strives to make our pharmacy management software as user-friendly as possible. In fact, learning your new pharmacy software is easy with BestRx’s video library for on-demand support.
Getting Comfortable with your Software
Initially, your pharmacy will want to focus on learning the functions you’ll use most often. Once you get comfortable performing the essential steps to fill a prescription, you can begin tackling more advanced features, like electronic patient communications, online payments and automatic script verification afterhours. Mastering your pharmacy software is a continuous process however, you probably don’t want to spend your valuable time on the phone with support every time you want to utilize a new feature.
To make learning about your pharmacy software features easy and convenient, we’ve put together a comprehensive library of training videos. The videos are available online, so you can access them 24 hours a day, seven days a week*. The videos contain helpful information on how to utilize specific features, including:
- Step by step instructions for setup
- Customizations that may be available
- Tips to ensure you’re using the feature and/or software to its fullest potential
Plus, finding a specific training video is easy too. Videos can be quickly sorted by category, ranging from a review of the “basics” to central pharmacy and delivery integration tutorials. You can also sort videos by tier, to quickly review all the functionality that is available with your specific software package. The videos are a helpful resource no matter how long you’ve had our software. In fact, here are three times to use BestRx’s video library for on-demand support:
During Your Initial Onboarding
Your pharmacy will rely on training resources, including our video library, the most during onboarding. That’s why we’ve helped to prioritize what’s most critical to your day-to-day operations in our “BestRx Basics” series. The series covers the essential functions for every pharmacy, including filling your first prescription, submitting insurance claims, administrative functions and more.
Implementing a New Feature
The videos are also helpful if you’ve recently upgraded to a new BestRx tier or added a feature. You can quickly search for a particular feature or sort videos by tier. Most of our videos are between 5 – 15 minutes and include step-by-step instructions and screenshots, so it’s easy to follow along in your own system. Plus, you can watch them whenever it’s most convenient for you.
Additionally, whenever we launch a new feature, we send out an email announcement. The email provides a quick overview of the feature and its benefits. It also includes information on how to enroll and any associated costs. Plus, we’ll share links to videos and other available training resources.
New Staff Training
When you are bringing on new staff members our videos can be incorporated into your training plan. This ensures employees have ample opportunity to become familiar with your pharmacy software before they officially step behind the counter.
These aren’t the only times you can utilize our training videos. Our video library is available to you and your staff, whenever you need feature-specific support or a quick software refresher. By offering on-demand training, BestRx is providing you with the resources you need to get the most out of your pharmacy management software – without interrupting your daily workflow.
